I've just watched this documentary about a woman who was pregnant for 46 years. The baby had been growing in the abdominal cavity around the womb. When the baby died she thought she was having contractions, and when they stopped she decided that the baby had gone to "sleep" and would wake up when it was ready. Who would beleve that their baby had gone to sleep during labour and would wake up when later??? And what makes it why would you wait 46 years to get anything done about it???

An amazing story, but supposedly true. The facts do seem to indicate extreme ignorance on the part of the would be mother.
It may be interesting to do a research and see whether this kind of behaviour has been recorded elsewhere?
